From Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Traveling to Big Bamboo from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida is relatively quick and easy. With a valid passport for entry into The Bahamas, guests can fly a direct route of 175 miles to Andros Town in only 55 minutes.
Big Bamboo is also accessible by small boat. While we do not have a full service marina, our 60 foot T-dock can accomodate several boats at a time, up to 30+ feet in length, with a draft of 3 feet at low tide and bridge clearance of 10 feet or less. Fueling can be arranged, based on guests advance request.
Traveling From Nassau
Travel to Big Bamboo from any location in the United States is not complicated, as most major airlines fly into Nassau, Bahamas.
Upon arrival at the Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, guests can connect with Le Air or commuter flights at the General Aviation Center to Andros Town, a short 15 minute flight away.
